    ODOT online Project Tracking Map
    The Oregon Department of Transportation's new online Project Tracking Map allows you to track where state transportation funds are spent. The map lists basic information about most, but not all, state-managed transportation projects. Drop down menus allow you to filter the map by geographical area, legislative and congressional districts and other boundaries. Future enhancements will include more types of projects.
  • May is Transportation Safety Awareness Month

    Governor Kitzhaber has proclaimed May 2012 as Transportation Safety Month in Oregon. The focus this year is on road construction work zones. At any one time, there may be hundreds of work zones in operation throughout our state. Work zone safety and awareness is critical, both for drivers and the men and women that work on our roads every day.
  • ODOT warns consumers about illegal household goods movers

    Planning a move across town or to another city? Any company or person that offers household goods moving services must comply with state and federal regulations. Consumers who choose an unlicensed mover whether intentionally or unintentionally may have little or no recourse for loss or damage to their property and may be charged higher than normal fees. In an effort to warn consumers about unlicensed and uninsured movers, ODOT and Beaverton Police Department partnered on an enforcement operation .
  • May is Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month
    Riders learn safe practices during TEAM training.
    As the weather improves, more and more motorcyclists will hit the roads. With that in mind, Governor Kitzhaber has proclaimed May 2012 "Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month" in Oregon. Oregon is joining with motorcycle organizations and other federal, state and local highway safety and law enforcement organizations to raise awareness about motorcycle safety.
